Id do just about anything to procratinate laundry. Including moving the laundry to the end of the bed to be intimate with my wife. Personally, the laundry can always wait. The dishes can wait. The lawn can wait. Most things in life can be done at a different hour but the present moment with a person you love is fleeting. You won't get it back. For as long as you live you'll have laundry, but it isnt promised that for as long as you live, you'll have them. I think thats one reason I immortalized memories as they happen. Taking a photo takes 5 seconds, but the moment will be gone forever once its over. Some would say that is the beauty of being alive, that we love and let live and the moment passes as quickly as it came. But others told stories passed down through hundreds of years to keep memories alive. Furthermore they painted and sculpted and invented new ways to capture and record precious moments they thought were worth documenting forever. Now im not saying this intimate video is worthy of being remembered by the masses througb the decades.. but what I am saying is I live in a constant knowing, an innate state of awareness, that the next moment isn't promised and to me that means ill kiss her softer, slower, and risk being late to work. I'll dance with her in the kitchen instead of doing dishes. I'll cuddle in bed before choosing to put away laundry, and ive romanticized procrastination in almost every aspect of life so long as it means never procrastinating my time with her.
