Whenever I remind you guys to like posts, i do get a little bump in likes, which is greatly appreciated! ♡
Normally I'd say I get about 15% of fans liking my posts within the week that they go up (so about 15 likers out of 100 fans)
Times where I bring it up and say "heyy like my posts pls!!" I typically get a bump up to around 20 - 25% of fans liking a post or two, which is substantial and appreciated!
But then as you would expect, the likes return to a "base line", which for me seems to be about 12-15% of fans liking posts.
Which makes sense because, I think it's a human thing. We often need to be reminded to remember to do things, or have something show up in our radar enough times to take some action.
SO Anyway long ramble and explanation aside, I may do little "like" reminder posts idk once every 2 weeks or something, just to see if I can get some more 💓 on posts 😊 Thanks!
And maybe you're thinking I put too much emphasis on likes or worry about it too much. But idk part of me thinks that that's part of the gig! It's creating content that people enjoy and value, but I think there's also some importance on the engagement/business/marketing type stuff. Which is about likes, promoting, sales, and all those kinds of things. Personally I'd like to think the content is the most important lol, but I do want to consider the other items as well if they can help me grow!
And lastly, as I've said before, it just does honestly give me a little emotional boost when I see people liking or leaving positive comments 🌞. It gives me the feeling that people are seeing and enjoying what I'm posting, enough to hit a heart button or leave a comment. It's positive feedback for me, which I like.
