This is a list of 10 of such ideas, which I have deemed to be myths, rather than truths (at least for me in my experience).
These points are viewed through my lens as a female. I feel like romantic partners I've had were influenced by these unhelpful ideas which I found to be challenging to deal with. Or, I thought I had to go along with or measure up to these types of ideas, in order to "do sex right". And it took me time to feel confident enough to say hey no, I have different likes and preferences vs what is often depicted as "the norm" (which is often unrealistic or limited).
1. Touching a woman's breasts or pussy straight away (in an intimate/romantic scenario) is a good idea and will turn her on
2. Women love semen
3. Your hard on will instantly excite and enchant a woman
4. Anal happens easily
5. Women are comfortable and find it easy to be naked and show off for a man
6. "Sex" is all about penetration
7. Sex without orgasm is unheard of or a failure
8. Women like to be dominated completely in bed/it makes you a man to be overly aggressive in bed
9. A woman not being able to sit down after sex/having sore genitals is a good thing
