Today was an unusual day, full of little surprises. It started with me oversleeping! My alarm clock didn't go off, and I jumped up in a panic, packing quickly. There was no time for breakfast, so I grabbed a banana and ran for the bus. Of course, it left right in front of my nose, but while I was waiting for the next one, I ran into an old acquaintance. We talked for a couple minutes and the mood got better
It was fun at work, too. Our department decided to organize a mini-contest for the best presentation design. Everyone started to get creative, and I, to be honest, laughed at my colleagues' jokes more than I did anything. In the end I didn't win, but it was still great
For lunch, my coworker and I went to a small cafe nearby. We got soups and delicious cakes. I had one with raspberries and it was incredible - now I want to learn how to make it at home
After work I decided to go for a walk, despite the light rain. The park was almost empty, just a few people under umbrellas. I turned on some music and thought about the future for a while. Sometimes you need moments like that - to stop and think about where you're going
At home, I gave myself an evening of relaxation: a hot shower, delicious tea and a new TV series I've been wanting to watch for a long time. I like it so far, so I'll watch a couple more episodes this weekend
The day ended warm and cozy I think days like this help me appreciate the simple joys. How was yours? 😊
