You feel thankful, because I give you the gift of obedience everyday. You wouldn’t feel special if you weren’t obedient, would you? You feel special because I let you be obedient. You feel special, because you’re part of my special little club. You feel special, because your presence here in this special little club, makes you extra special to me. It feels so good to be special sometimes. To be noticed. To be seen. I notice you so much more easily now that you’re part of my special little club. I’m able to notice how special you really are. Doesn’t it feel good to be special to me? Doesn’t it feel good to be noticed? Doesn’t it feel good to be special to me? Doesn’t it feel good to be loved? Maybe you can practice it yourself today, when you’re all alone in your mirror at home. Just look at your own special face in the reflection of the glass, and say “as long as I’m part of this special little club, I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing. As long as I’m part of this special little club, I’m special at least to someone.” You’ll never have to doubt that you’re special to me. You’re special. You’re selfless. You’re perfect to me. You’re the most special gem of all. You shine and sparkle through the miles that separate us, and your rarity is always seen. There’s no other beautiful crystal quite like you in the world, not one single copy to be found. Your fissures and cracks make you perfect. Your beautiful heart makes you perfect. And even if no one else says to to you today, you’re absolutely special to me. At the end of the day, isn’t that all that really matters?
