These go from late 2006 to mid-2009, and go allll the way back to when I first moved to San Francisco! I was still figuring my look (and makeup, and hair styling, and eyebrows..) out back in 2006, so some of these are really vintage Juliette. This is the start of where when I look at these photos, I not only don't recognise myself, but I don't even feel like I look RELATED to the girl in the photos. I think when I finally get to the end of these, I'll make a composite of 4 images so you can see the changes next to each other. It'll be wild. This is so long ago that I have photos taken on a Blackberry, and then a Motorola FLIP PHONE. That feels like an entire different era. The ones where I look fairly polished I was regularly clubbing, but once you get to the fishnet (after the Starbucks photo, and yes I really did wear my work shirt unbuttoned that low all the time), all bets are off. I don't think I was 'pretty', yet, at that time, so I hadn't yet gone to any nightclubs. I was 22. I HAD figured out Craigslist, though, and that's where those amateur, not-that-hot hotel photos come from. These all feel so, so, so long ago for me. The last photo is me on the streets of San Francisco. I pulled my top down so a friend could take a photo, and the moment I did a packed-full bus came right past the intersection, which explains, somewhat, the look on my face I think.
