After 7 years of silence, a charity event is being held in Bristol in early May, and the money received for the tickets will be sent to help Ukrainian children affected by the war which Russia started. Previously, I couldn’t go abroad to concerts. That's why to listen to most performers live is an impossible dream. Portishead stopped performing before I discovered Europe. It is sad that I will miss this concert again. To get to Bristol now, I have to go through a big bureaucratic path, which I can’t do. And most of government institutions and embassies do not work now, because of Russian missiles and bombs. I want to believe that one day I can get to the live performance of Portishead, and dive into the sweet sounds of trip-hop and the enchanting voice of Beth Gibbons. I often cry when I see the support of the whole world against Russian aggression. Russian soldiers destroy Ukrainian cities, kill and torturing civilians Ukrainian people, violence Ukrainian children. It's awful, it has to stop. It is not done by Putin, it’s done by ordinary russian soldiers, who get salary for the atrocities they commit. A russian soldier receives $ 550 a month for thousands of Ukrainians killed and thousands of broken houses, for hundreds of destroyed villages.
