UPDATE........... The second surgeon that I have been referred to thinks that I need to be seen by a specialist & so I have now been referred to a different hospital which is 25 miles away from my house (no one in my house drives) So now I have to wait ''again'' for a letter from my new surgeon! 3rd time lucky I'm hoping!! So I'm no closer to even knowing when my operation is going to be :'( I have lost 35lbs now & am completely drained mentally & physically, so I apologise for being absent a lot at the moment, I will be back to posting almost every day when I'm better. Thank you all for still being here <3 it really does mean a lot to me <3 <3 <3 XxxX

Update, the Dr found that I have a large rolling (para-oesophageal) hiatus hernia which is causing malrotaion of my stomach :-( Just my luck this is the rare more dangerous hiatus hernia!! I have been referred to see a surgeon, although I'm having trouble with finding out how long a wait that will be! I have now lost 2 stone in weight :-0

Hey guys, another update for you all ❤ I am going into hospital today for a gastroscopy, finally! Health update for you all, I took myself to A&E yesterday & ..
Health update for you all, I took myself to A&E yesterday & finally got somewhere! They put me on a drip which has helped me feel a little better today :-) I had a CT scan and found out that my hiatus hernia is back, which is what I was thinking it was. I had a op about 5 and a half years ago to fix a previous hiatus hernia but my symptoms this time are very different and much worse :-( basically my food is getting stuck in the hernia and having a hard time getting to my stomach which is causing me alot of pain & not being able to keep much food down. I have now lost 17 pound in weight so far! & I now have to wait about 2 weeks for more tests to be done to see how big the hernia is and to make sure that ''nothing else more sinister is also going on'' (Doctors words!) this means I have at least another 2 weeks of not being able to eat much, still strictly no solid food either :-( The doctor did say not to hesitate in coming back to A&E if I get any worse as an obstructed hiatal hernia can be dangerous!
